“Bloom sounds like a woman who has spent years in the wilderness… An earthy, unpretentious presence, she can snap a heart like a twig”

For fans of the song and how to feel it, Kath Bloom (CT) is some kind of legend. She comes from a special place where country, blues and folk are made beautifully translucent and emotive. She has a special gift – her delicate, tender voice yet she retains that raw emotion and hard worn truths that allows each sung word to be felt.

Dan Greene has been a teacher of all subjects for 15 years in New Haven, Connecticut.  He has released dozens of singles and albums with The Butterflies of Love and The Mountain Movers.   Dan is a self-taught artist whose first solo exhibition is on display in the Intercambio gallery.  KNIFE THROWER: Works by Dan Greene will be on display through June 15.  The exhibition will be available for viewing prior to tonight’s concert.

“Levi has a wonderful joy in his performance. He is easygoing and giving. His songs are heartfelt, melodic, and you will never forget them.”  -Kath Bloom

Singer-songwriter Levi Strom embodies the notion of an old soul with a young heart.  His uplifting and energetic demeanor on stage is matched by gravity heavy lyrics and his instincts for the song, the phrase and the moment.  His songs are simple, honest, and catchy.

“ . . . warm, melodic and honest — the way folk music should be.”  – The Deli Magazine

Cave Country is a band of traveling minstrels that has taken on many forms.  Led by Mr. Jim Reynolds the group has toured the world performing honest and groovy Americana folk and country music.  Cave Country writes songs about dusty trails, kicking your boots up, love and life on the road.  Find them wherever folks are singing together, tapping their feet, pikin’ a guitar and sipping that good ol’ whiskey.
